Working on “Gnome Alone” at Cinesite was an exhilarating journey that spanned two distinct stages of development.
The initial phase leaned towards a fantasy approach, demanding intricate and elaborate designs to bring the world to life. However, as the project evolved, it transitioned into a more cartoony aesthetic.
Under the direction of Peter Lepeniotis, the project took on a new direction, embracing a playful and whimsical style.
Collaborating with Peter was an absolute delight, as his vision and guidance provided invaluable direction throughout the production process. Together, we navigated the transition from fantasy to cartoony, refining character designs and visual elements to align with the new direction. This collaborative effort ensured that “Gnome Alone” remained true to its core essence while embracing the creative evolution that ultimately propelled it into full production. Working alongside Peter was a charm, and his leadership infused the project with a sense of energy and enthusiasm that fueled our creative endeavors.
As “Gnome Alone” journeyed from concept to completion, I cherished the opportunity to collaborate with Peter and the talented team at Cinesite, each step bringing us closer to realizing the magical world of the film.
